Car-boot sale

Almost every Sunday since I got back to bmouth, me and Mr. Hazel has gone to car-boot sales looking for treasures. Mr. Hazel for anything that is worth something, and me, well anything that shine. Here is some of the stuff I have found over the last weeks:

Three trunks that I can keep all my extra stuff in.

A alarm-clock that seem to be working ok, but not sure I can trust it, looks good though

A rooster, it should be part of a set, but I could only find this one. Oh well, it does look good on its own as well.
tinny bird shaped scissors, from the victoria times.

two hand watches that don't seem, but they do look nice, and maybe I can get them to work.

and some glass balls, that is now hanging from the lamp in my room.

I am sure I will find more interesting stuff trough the year, but hopefully not anything to big or else I will need to get it shipped home some how.

Dinner at Grandma's place

Today me and my sister had dinner at our lovely grandma. It was a win win from both sides, she teached me how to make one of my old favoritt dinners.

She teached me how to sharpen the knife on the oven, the old way of doing it.

The carrot we used came from my dads garden, so some of the food was homegrown. That always gives me a great feeling homegrown food, the tast of knowing everything about what you eat, and being local you know it is fresh food.
I love grandma's sink its a 60's sink, just the type I want myself. I remenber when we where wee things we used to go pee pee in it, hehe but thats a long time ago.

We made pig knuckle with sweet and sour sauce, yum yum!

So I leave you with this, looks good right?

And into the forest they went....

Yesterday me and my two lovely dogs went hunting for chanterelle, with mum and dad being a way on vacation hunting it did feel a bit strange, but after the first chanterelle was in the basket thefeeling took overhand.

Pysa almost got stuck in a mudhole, haha that dog is crazy about water and well just crazy really...
Forest gold

there is so many beautiful tinny things you see when you are walking around in the forest and looking down on the ground.
Norweigan forest are so pretty this time of year, I honestly don't understand why people are complaining about summer soon being gone, but what they don't see is that this is the most wonderful time of year, the smells and colours and everything!
In the end I ended up with almost a full basked!
Pysa after an hour in the forest running over most of the chanterelle that I was trying to pick hehe.
Kiwi on the other hand was running around on the outside as the clever and independet girl she is.
And me? well I was pretty tierd and very very happy.

Depth of field

"The intense sense of depth and detail that we experience in front of a painting or photograph is a result of their flatness."

300 hours

What can a person do in 300 hours? A lot or nothing depend what you are planing to use your time. However this is not really the point, more that I have now finished my second to last year of uni life. It is a bitter sweet moment, I think its great that i get better time to talk about different things outside paper size and WHY THE HELL did the squid mean. I guess this is a good thing though, only problem being I do love that squid on a string.

but going back to the none point of 300 hours, what can you do? I created a picture and its frame.

After spending 5 long days in uni building a frame, almost crying and a lot of coffee, we did it, and I will tell you what, I will do it again and again!

I am so proud, and so thankful that I have great friends! what would I do without you Claire and Kym? probably curl up in a corner and die.

To bad I did not get a picture of Kym`s great photograph and frame, it looked wicked. But I did get a picture of Claire`s one, and that too look well wicked.

This picture does not do the work any justice, but what can you do, really needed to have a picture of it just to be able to show it to people and to go "Hey I made this you know!"

Last of all a big, BIG, thanks to my great teacher Dave, what would anyone do without a Dave in their life's.
